Our client in Philadelphia is looking for a Cloud Engineer to join their team. This is a 6-9+ month contract role with a very stable and well-known organization.
Position Description:
- Hands-on Operational DevOps work daily
- CICD pipelining build in an Agile, Azure environment
- Assist in the design, build and delivery of the application stack for a product teams.
- Working as part of an application team to build and maintain the right cloud infrastructure architecture, balancing performance and resilience with cost.
- Scoping of requirements
- Utilization of our core platform using Terraform and Puppet to deliver high quality, operationally mature infrastructure
- Contributing to building and maintaining a set of tools that enable developers to self-serve for most operational tasks
Required skills:
- 4+ years Strong DevOps experience, with strong Azure as a core piece of that
- At least 1 year of Azure experience to show that you have made the transition
- Strong Ansible experience
- Strong Terraform experience
- Strong DevOps Skills (CI/CD)
- Experience working in a complex server environment – enterprise or very large consulting
- Strong Operations skills – compute storage, network operations
- Effective Problem solver
- Intelligent self-starter who can work well when not heavily supervised
- Work ethic – ability to easily pick up new concepts
- Self-motivated with very strong internal drive
- Anticipate needs, to help take things off of the senior team member plates
